Abstract

For the structural characteristics of the inverter main circuits usually used in PV grid-connected systems, a novel PV grid-connected power conditioning system(PVPCS) is proposed, in which reactive power compensation and harmonic suppression are integrated. The system can improves not only power quality but also efficiency, and reduces power wasting. The working principle of the system, instantaneous reactive theory, the combination of grid-connected current and grid-connected current tracking are discussed. PVPCS based on fuzzy sliding variable-structure control (FSMC) is also discussed. The transient simulation of one machine infinite bus system is executed, and the results are compared with traditional PI control. The results of simulation prove the feasibility of the system configuration and control strategy presented above.
