Abstract

The master equation describing massless fields of different spin in the Kerr-Taub-NUT space-time (representing a source with a mass plus gravitomagnetic monopole and dipole moments) is analyzed. This equation can be separated into its radial and angular parts. The behaviour of the radial functions at infinity and near the horizon is studied in order to examine the influence of the NUT parameter on the phenomenon of superradiance. Moreover the coupling between the spin of the perturbing field and the gravitomagnetic monopole moment is discussed.
