Abstract

A detailed mathematical model describing the performance of solar ejector refrigeration system for comfort air conditioning was presented in this paper, and the system used HFO1234yf and HFO1234ze as working fluid. The simulated results was compared with the available experimental data from the literature for validation. The influence of evaporator on the system was studied, and the results show that the performance of HFO1234yf is better than that of the HFO1234ze. Based on the results, This paper choose five cities located at east, southern, central, north and northwest areas in China to analyze the characteristic of the entrainment ratio, COP, cooling capacity, and contribution rate under the typical condition. The results showed that the entrainment ratio and COP of HFO1234yf solar ejector refrigeration system declined along with time in those areas, and the maximum is happened at Zhengzhou. In addition, the average contribution rate were 35.10% and 42.23% and 58.00% and 122% and 46.80% in those five cities respectively.
