Abstract
This work evaluates the performance of a TCP enabled WLAN over a lossy medium by calculating throughput parameter using different error control mechanisms (ECMs). The throughput of a TCP connection is calculated by evaluating page response time under the effect of different values of packet discard ratio (PDR), packet latency (PL) and max segment size (MSS) by means of OPNET simulator.
