Abstract

The 4G and 5G wireless communication systems provide very high date rates and operate in high mobility regions with large number of users. The channel conditions in these wireless communications are doubly dispersive which includes time and frequency dispersion. OFDM techniques are commonly used in 4G/5G communications which provides better performance in frequency selective channels and OFDM systems offer less Inter symbol interference. But Doppler shift introduces the shift in the subcarrier frequencies causing deviation in their orthogonality, which degrades system performance. In high-speed vehicle communication a new generation modulation scheme which represents the signal in two-dimensional form known as OTFS is proposed where the modulation symbol is multiplexed in the delay Doppler representation. In this paper, OTFS Massive MIMO system is analyzed based on Impulse, Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP) and channel estimation by structured orthogonal matching pursuit (SOMP) techniques for high-speed communication.
