Abstract
 
 This study aims to analyze the forms the other towards women in the novel Kogoeru Kiba by Nonami Asa. Data were collected from a Japanese novel entitled Kogoeru Kiba by Nonami Asa using qualitative methods with content analysis techniques and then analyzed using Simone de Beauvoir's existential feminism perspective (Beauvoir, 1989) described descriptively. The results of the analysis are three marginalities obtained from colleagues, general public and from husband. Women are marginalized because they do things that are considered not domestic field than what women should do. Women are considered to do something that should only be done by men. Future research is expected to discuss the resistance to marginality experienced by female figure by using existential feminism.

 Abstrak
 
 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perempuan sebagai other dalam novel Kogoeru Kiba karya Nonami Asa. Data dikumpulkan dari novel bahasa jepang berjudul Kogoeru Kiba karya Nonami Asa menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi lalu dianalisis menggunakan perspektif feminisme eksistensi Simone de Beauvoir (Beauvoir, 1989) dijabarkan dengan deskriptif. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan adalah berupa tiga marginalitas yang didapatkan dari rekan kerja, masyarakat umum dan dari suami. Perempuan dimarginalkan karena melakukan sesuatu yang dianggap bukan ranah domestik dari yang seharusnya dilakukan oleh perempuan. Perempuan dianggap mengerjakan sesuatu yang seharusnya hanya dikerjakan laki-laki. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat membahas mengenai perlawanan terhadap marginalitas yang di alami tokoh perempuan dengan menggunakan feminisme eksistensi.
