Abstract
Ocula n° 19 is focused on gamification and other keywords of our times: ludic discourse, research, territory and community. Gamification, as a cross and interstitial element, can be strategic in socio-cultural engagement. The issue is based on two main topics: the ludic engagement of communities in design process; the assessment of ludic experience in everyday life, in terms of impact evaluation. Ocula n° 19 springs from some initiatives promoted by C.U.B.E. - Bologna University Center of Ethnosemiotics and by the Ethnosemiotics Laboratory, an incubation project for social enterprise (CoopUp Bologna) and the ninth edition of It.a.ca. -Responsible Tourism Festival, together with presentations of research work and experiences shared by the authors involved in this issue.
