Abstract

First you need some fluffy, appealing penguins - there should be at least three but no more than five in the set and they should have an obvious size difference – large, medium and small. If you have parents or staff who are good at sewing or knitting and have the time to spare then these toys can be made. I am not ashamed to admit that I took the easy option - I bought mine from a car boot sale, a local church flea market, and a couple of charity shops. They cost the princely sum of £1.20 for five . A quick wash, dry and brush and my smart set of penguins were on parade!
