Abstract

This study focuses on the impact of teacher credibility, compensation, and job satisfaction on the performance of private junior high school teachers in Kota Batu. Employing a quantitative approach, it involves 147 teachers based on the 2023 data of Kota Batu. The research aims to evaluate the influence of teacher credibility, compensation, and job satisfaction on teacher performance and provide solutions to elementary education management issues. Data collection methods include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis utilizes Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS3 and IBM SPSS 26. The results indicate that teacher credibility positively affects the image and trust, while job satisfaction positively influences motivation, performance, and teacher retention, with fairness in compensation considered a key factor. AbstrakPenelitian ini fokus pada dampak kredibilitas guru, kompensasi, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Swasta Kota Batu. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan 147 guru berdasarkan data Kota Batu 2023. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi pengaruh kredibilitas, kompensasi, dan kepuasan kerja pada kinerja guru serta memberikan solusi terhadap masalah manajemen pendidikan dasar. Metode pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan SmartPLS3 dan IBM SPSS 26. Hasil menunjukkan kredibilitas guru berdampak positif pada citra dan kepercayaan, sementara kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif pada motivasi, kinerja, dan retensi guru, dengan keadilan kompensasi sebagai faktor kunci.
