Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the human development index (average years of schooling, open unemployment rate, percentage of poor people) on the inclusive economic growth index of Gorontalo Province. The Central Statistics Agency obtained the quantitative methodology, covering six districts/cities in Gorontalo Province from 2012-2021. This research uses a panel data regression analysis method using the Fixed Effect Model approach to determine the influence of the dependent variable on the independent variable. The findings of this research show that the human development index variable, namely the average number of years of schooling, has a positive and significant value, the open unemployment rate has a positive and insignificant value, the percentage of poor people has a negative and important value on the inclusive economic growth index.
