The main problem that is a challenge in character formation through civic education is the increasing development of the digital era which changes the mindset and character of students. Therefore, value education in civics is needed to shape the character of elementary school students in the current digital era. This study uses a literature study method by searching for sources such as scientific articles, journals, and documents related to research problems. The data used are secondary data obtained from relevant books, articles, and journals. Data collection techniques include literature studies, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. Through literature studies and empirical data analysis from several studies, it was found that the role of value education in civics has an important role in building the moral character of students in the digital era. Not only is it able to form good student character, but it also prepares students to face various challenges that arise due to negative content such as cyberbullying, hoaxes, gadget addiction, pornographic sites, and other unethical behavior. In the midst of rapid technological developments, civics aims not only to make students academically intelligent, but also to form a strong, creative, critical, and active moral character. Civic Education provides students with the skills to develop attitudes of tolerance, peace, harmony, and respect for diversity. Value education in Civic Education (PKn) plays a very important role in shaping students' character, especially in the challenging digital era. Digital technology provides broad access to information, but also has negative impacts. Therefore, a structured and innovative approach is needed in learning PKn, which not only educates students about the values ??of Pancasila, but also helps them develop digital literacy and online ethics. The role of families, teachers, and the community is also very crucial in supporting students' character education.

This study aims to explore the competence of lecturers to face the challenges of artificial intelligence, the use of artificial intelligence-based learning media in the learning process of civic education, and the constraints of lecturers in utilizing artificial intelligence-based learning media. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study are lecturers who teach civic education courses. The data analysis used was content analysis, and this research was conducted at Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia. The results showed that in facing the challenges of the era of artificial intelligence, a lecturer, in addition to having pedagogic, professional, social, and personality competencies, must also have learning and innovation skills, digital literacy skills, and career and life skills. The use of artificial intelligence-based learning media at Universitas Sebelas Maret in the learning process is still relatively less than optimal because there are still some lecturers who do not utilize artificial intelligence technology. The obstacle faced by lecturers in utilizing artificial intelligence-based learning media is that there are still lecturers who cannot operate artificial intelligence technology, so the impact on student learning motivation is reduced. This phenomenon will have implications for the weak civic competence in students, especially civic skills so that they will experience obstacles in facing the development of the times.

This study aims to determine the role of civic education in build the student tolerance character in higher education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data analysis used is interactive data analysis, which consists of 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation, 4) drawing conclusions. Higher education is a formal education path to print the nation's future, which turns out to be in it there are students who have radical ideas that have the potential to act of terrorism and also commit acts of racial intolerance. To cope with actions that threaten the future of diversity, it is necessary to build a character of tolerance so that life in higher education becomes safe and conducive. The development of the tolerance character through civic education turns out to be able to overcome attitudes or actions that lead to SARA violations in higher education. The role of a lecturer is very central, because the students character can be built by a lecturer who is creative and innovative in determining learning strategies and has pedagogic, professional, social, and personality competencies. Through the role of a lecturer who has competence, it turns out to be able to build the student character tolerance in the learning process.

This paper inquires to look at the vital role of Pancasila values in building the nation's character of students through civic education. This research was conducted to see how far the role of Pancasila values as part of the Citizenship Education subject, apart from being a national ideology, is also a nation's view of life that can shape the nation’s character in students at school. This research used a qualitative and quantitative approach with a population of 21 high schools in Purwakarta with a sample of 5 schools as a sample. From this research, it was found that the Pancasila values contained in the first to the fifth precepts in the Civics Education subject are expected to be a guide for students in everyday life, both inside the classroom and outside the classroom, in the family, in the community, even in the life of the nation and state. As agents of social change, students must still be able to see the meaning of Pancasila's position as the basic foundation, which is the core of Civics learning, so that Pancasila's values can still be a guide in people's lives Pancasila and able to shape the character of the nation.

The background of this research was that there was a critique of education in Indonesia about the educational outcomes that can not build the students’ character. Through scientific learning is expected graduates are competent and character. This study focused on the character of basic school students' and was associated with the implementation of scientific learning. The aims of the research were: (1) Describe the students 'character, (2) Describe the students' scientific learning skills, and (3) Find out the correlation of scientific learning and character. The study was conducted in basic school because it is assumed the basic school has an important role in students’ character building. The findings of the research were: the characters are divided into three types, namely personal, nation and state character. The highest average score is the nation character, followed by state and personal character. Simultaneously, basic school students’ character is in the medium category 55% and high category 45% of students. The average score of students’ scientific learning skill 3.567 of the maximum score 4.000; The highest score was on the skills to classify, followed by to observe 3.80, communicate 3.80, conclude 3.50, and guest 3.20, measure 3.20. The correlation between students’ character with scientific learning skill was 0.473 (weak correlation) with the sig. 0.035 (significant). So there should be a research about factors that contribute the character of students; and the impact of the implementation of scientific learning strategy

In context of higher education, particularly in Islamic Universities (PTI), the demand for academic and moral excellence is essential. Lecturers have a central role in shaping student character, but sometimes academic competence is emphasized more than personality competence. The concept of “Unveiling Excellence” draws attention to efforts to uncover the superior potential of the personality competencies of PTI lecturers through the integration of Islamic values. This study aims to identify and describe the Islamic values on the competence of lecturers’ personalities. With a deeper understanding of the Islamic values regarding the competence of lecturers’ personalities, PTI can be more effective in shaping student character through Islamic teachings and producing academically and morally qualified graduates. Qualitative methods are used through literature studies, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with Islamic Education experts. The research findings revealed eight Islamic values on the competence of the lecturer’s personality, namely patience (Sabr), wise (hikmah), forgiving (al afu), shame (al haya), self-control (muraqabah), humble (tawadhu), empathy (ta’atuf), and politeness (adab). These findings highlight the need to integrate Islamic values into lecturers’ competency, thereby providing an educational environment that promotes the building of student character through Islamic teachings. Civic education is a course of study that shapes students' personalities, conscious national endeavor and character development. Civic education attempts to increase student awareness of the country and build a feeling of patriotism. The study's primary concern is how civic and ethical values influence the student's character and moral values development. Therefore, this study analyses students' perceptions of ethical values in the civic education of Pakistan. This study is quantitative. The descriptive research method was used to gather information from undergraduate students of higher education institutions in southern Punjab. The target population of the study was all universities of Southern Punjab. A sample of 1080 students was selected randomly to collect data from public and private universities of Multan, Bahawalpur, and D.G Khan with the help of a self-developed questionnaire. On the basis of the analysis of the study, empirically, it can be said that tolerance, truthfulness and honesty, respect, patience, discipline, generosity, family ethics, and discipline are essential ethical values and should be taught at the undergraduate level.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of online learning on students' understanding and learning motivation with lecturer competence as a moderating variable. This research method used a survey method. The population in this study were all STIESIA Surabaya students and the sample in this study were STIESIA Surabaya students who were taking online lessons during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample is 100 students and the sample was taken using non-probability sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through online questionnaires given to STIESIA Surabaya students. The data analysis technique used SEM with a moderating relationship using AMOS 21 software. The results of this study indicated that (1) online learning has a positive and significant effect on student understanding; (2) online learning does not affect students' learning motivation; (3) Online learning has a positive and significant effect on students' understanding with lecturer competence as a moderating variable; 4) Online learning has no positive and significant effect on student learning motivation with lecturer competence as a moderating variable (lecturer competency is not a moderating variable or is not a moderating variable between online learning and student learning motivation). Based on the results of the research stated, it is hoped that it can help the learning process give implications for increasing student understanding during online lectures by maximizing the competence of lecturers.

This article aims to find out the role of multicultural education in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The stages of this method include collecting related references through journal publication sources, namely google scholar, selecting and then analyzing concepts and ideas that are important points to be used as the basis for this research. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that multicultural education has an important role in preparing the young generation to face the challenges of the digital era by understanding and appreciating cultural diversity, as well as incorporating local wisdom values in the learning process. In the digital era, the challenges faced by multicultural education are increasingly complex, ranging from the spread of hate speech to the influence of foreign ideologies that can damage national values. Civic education must be strengthened with a strong multicultural foundation. This is important to form a civic awareness that respects diversity, as well as building a sense of love for the homeland and loyalty to the nation. Multicultural-based civic education can utilize technology to broaden students' horizons about cultural diversity and global challenges. Multicultural education in the digital era is not only a challenge but also a great opportunity to create a young generation with character, integrity, and ready to face the changing times

Tujuan penelitian ini: 1) Untuk menganalisis game edukasi "KARISMA" dalam pembentukan karakter Merdeka Belajar pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2024 / 2025. 2) Untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta dalam penggunaan game edukasi "KARISMA" dalam pembelajaran pada tahun ajaran tahun ajaran 2024 / 2025. Bentuk penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskripsi kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini melibatkan guru PPKn kelas VIII dan siswa kelas VIII. Sumber data yang digunakan sumber primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskripsif kualitatif dengan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan: 1) Game edukasi "KARISMA" memiliki kontribusi positif terhadap pembentukan karakter Merdeka Belajar pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Game ini dirancang untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter sesuai dengan Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. 2) Persepsi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta terhadap penggunaan game edukasi "KARISMA" dalam pembelajaran cenderung positif. Persepsi siswa pada game ini sebagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif, menarik, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Game "KARISMA" tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran, tetapi juga memotivasi mereka untuk lebih aktif, kreatif, dan mandiri dalam belajar. Kata Kunci : Persepsi, Game Edukasi, “KARISMA” The objectives of this study were: 1) To analyze the educational game "KARISMA" in the developing Merdeka Belajar characters in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year. 2) To describe the perceptions of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta in the use of the educational game "KARISMA" in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research method is qualitative descriptive. The subjects of this study were civics teachers in grade and students in grade VIII. The data sources used are primary sources and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques used were through observation, interviews, documentation. Data validity testing was carried out using source triangulation and methods triangulation. The data in this study were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques with an interactive analysis model. The results of this study could be e concluded: 1) The educational game "KARISMA" has a positive contribution to the development of the Merdeka Belajar character in students in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 18 Surakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year. This game is designed to apply character values ​​in accordance with the Profil Pelajar Pancasila which was in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. 2) The perception of students in class VIII towards the use of the educational game "KARISMA" in tended to be positive. The Students' perceptions of this game as an innovative, interesting, and relevant learning media to students' needs. The "KARISMA" game not only improves students' understanding of the learning material, but also motivates them to be more active, creative, and independent in learning. This study aims to determine how the implementation and influence of the technology-based Merdeka curriculum on the character and learning motivation of fourth-grade students at SDN 24 Batangase Maros. This type of research is ex post facto research using quantitative research methods. The population of this study was all fourth-grade students of SDN 24 Batangase Maros, totaling 49 students. The sample of this study was 24 class IV B students, 14 of whom were male students and 10 female students. The instruments used were questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the study showed that: 1) The implementation of the technology-based Merdeka curriculum affects the character and learning motivation of students. This is realized by the use of projectors in the learning process so that students feel comfortable, more active and teachers do not dominate learning activities. And also able to shape students' character because in the process of implementing the Merdeka curriculum, the main focus is on instilling character values to produce a generation with good morals. 2) The technology-based merdeka curriculum has an effect on the character and learning motivation of students at SDN 24 Batangase Maros after obtaining the results of the hypothesis test with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there is an effect of using the technology-based merdeka curriculum on the character and learning motivation of student.

In the digital era, this education extends beyond traditional religious teaching to address ethical and moral use of technology. Knowledge Gap: Despite significant research on Islamic education, little attention has been given to its role in teaching digital ethics and responsible technology use in the context of student character development. Aims: This study aims to investigate how Islamic education can shape students' character in the digital era by promoting moral values, digital ethics, and spiritual awareness. Results: The research shows that Islamic education has a positive impact on the moral and ethical development of students. It integrates religious teachings with digital ethics, fostering responsible behavior and spiritual growth in the use of technology. Novelty: This study highlights the novel role of Islamic education in bridging religious values and digital ethics, providing a holistic approach to student character development in a digitalized world. Implications: The findings suggest a need for curriculum development focused on integrating digital ethics and Islamic values, teacher training in ethical technology use, and collaboration with parents to support character formation in students. The digital era hurts the crisis of student character, especially the nationalism character. Some lecturers fail to respond wisely due to the low use of digital-based learning media. This study aims to analyze the role of Pancasila Education lecturers in fostering the character of nationalism in the era of disruption, and the strategy of the Pancasila Education course in developing the character of student nationalism through video-based learning in the era of disruption. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, literature studies, and questionnaires. The data analysis used is interactive, while the research subjects are 2 lecturers and 28 students. The role of Pancasila Education lecturers is very important in fostering the character of student nationalism so that learning methods and media must be based on digital technology, especially video-based ones. Video-based learning for the Pancasila Education course is a useful strategy to develop the character of student nationalism because it is easily accessible. The results of this study are an alternative for lecturers and teachers in building the nationalistic character of students, considering that the digital era hurts the millennial generation.

Purpose – The purpose of this research is to review the transformation of Islamic da'wah strategies in the digitalization era, especially the da'wah strategies implemented by the NIDA Institute of Pesantren Mudi Mesra Aceh.Method – This research is field research. This research aims to analyze the phenomenon and dynamics of da'wah activities carried out by the NIDA Institute of Pesantren Mudi Mesra Aceh in the community. The type of research used is qualitative research. The data collection technique was carried out using the interview method with the manager of the NIDA Institute of Pesantren Mudi Mesra Aceh. The research data was analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques.Results – This research highlights the challenges faced by Islamic da'wah institutions in the digital era, such as the use of technology by the younger generation, ideological polarisation, and limited financial resources, as well as the solutions applied by the NIDA Institute of Pesantren Mudi Mesra Aceh in facing these challenges.Implications –NIDA Mudi Mesra Aceh, as a forum for the da’i community of students of Islamic boarding school, adjusted their da'wah approach by utilizing social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. They also adopt online programs such as webinars, podcasts, and online courses to reach a wider audience. In addition, NIDA Mudi Mesra Aceh is active in organizing humanitarian activities, providing assistance to communities in need, and nurturing the younger generation through leadership training programs.Originality/Value – This research is the first study to examine the transformation of the digital da'wah strategy of the NIDA Institute of Pesantren Mudi Mesra Aceh.***Tujuan - Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meninjau transformasi strategi dakwah Islam di era digitalisasi, khususnya strategi dakwah yang diterapkan oleh Institut NIDA Pesantren Mudi Mesra Aceh.Metode - Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena dan dinamika kegiatan dakwah yang dilakukan oleh Institut NIDA Pesantren Mudi Mesra Aceh di masyarakat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dengan manajer Institut NIDA Pesantren Mudi Mesra Aceh. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data kualitatif.Hasil - Penelitian ini menyoroti tantangan yang dihadapi lembaga dakwah Islam di era digital, seperti penggunaan teknologi oleh generasi muda, polarisasi ideologis, dan sumber daya keuangan yang terbatas, serta solusi yang diterapkan oleh Institut NIDA Pesantren Mudi Mesra Aceh dalam menghadapi tantangan ini.Implikasi - NIDA Mudi Mesra Aceh, sebagai tempat bagi komunitas da'i dari siswa pesantren, menyesuaikan pendekatan dakwah mereka dengan memanfaatkan media sosial seperti Facebook, Instagram, dan Twitter. Mereka juga mengadopsi program online seperti webinar, podcast, dan kursus online untuk menjangkau audiens lebih luas. Selain itu, NIDA Mudi Mesra Aceh aktif dalam mengorganisir kegiatan kemanusiaan, memberikan bantuan kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan, dan membimbing generasi muda melalui program pelatihan kepemimpinan.Orisinalitas/Nilai - Penelitian ini merupakan studi pertama yang meneliti transformasi strategi dakwah digital dari Institut NIDA Pesantren Mudi Mesra Aceh.

This research aims to explore the role of Islamic education in building the character of the millennial generation in the digital era. The millennial generation faces various challenges in character building, especially due to the great influence of social media and globalization which brings new values that sometimes contradict Islamic principles. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, this study collects data through in-depth interviews and observations on students and teachers in Islamic-based schools. The results of the study show that Islamic education that emphasizes values such as honesty, responsibility, and discipline has a significant influence on shaping positive character in students. The implementation of programs such as joint tadarus, thematic studies, and other religious activities has proven to be effective in increasing the moral awareness of the millennial generation. However, this study also finds the challenges faced by students in maintaining these values in the midst of the rapid flow of digital information that is not in accordance with Islamic norms. These findings indicate that the Islamic character education strategy needs to be strengthened and adjusted to the needs of the millennial generation who live in an ever-evolving technological environment. Through the adjustment of innovative Islamic learning methods and approaches, Islamic education is expected to be able to form a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has noble character and is able to face global challenges. This research contributes to developing a discourse on the importance of Islamic-based character education and its relevance in the digital era
