Abstract

This research is done because of one language skill lecture, namely students listening and speaking is still low. So that, the aim of this research is to describe the implementation of learning oral language skill using PBL model for regular students of PGSD, FIP UNP. The kind of research wich is used is class action research (PTK) by using qualitative and quantitative approach. The subjects of thes research is thirty four (34) students. Research procedure are: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collecting in this research is gained from observation and the result of students’ assignment. The result of the research indicates that there is the improvement of students thinking activity from the beginning of lecture. This development done because the student is challenged to solve the problem wich is given based on the agreement. Further more, there is motivation to solve the problem together and there is the sense of embarrassment if they are not enough able to responsible the problem given. All these activities give the impact to students thinking activity.
