Peer review declaration

Abstract

All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing.● Type of peer review: Double-anonymous Single-anonymous: authors’ identities are known to the reviewers, reviewers’ identities are hidden from authorsDouble-anonymous: author and reviewer identities are hidden to each otherTriple-blind: author and reviewer identities are hidden to each other, and from the Editor(s)Open: author and reviewer identities are known to each other● All accepted papers meet the criteria below: A. Articles’ topic must match the conference’s scope, which can be classified into : 1. Design Structure and Control Engineering. 2. Energy Conversion. 3. Energy Conservation. 4. Manufacture and Production Engineering. 5. Industrial Engineering. 6. Materials and Metallurgy. B. All articles must discuss engineering topics. C. Articles must at least include background, discussion, and conclusion. D. Articles are to provide new insights and ideas to the engineering community. E. Peer reviewers are to decide if a submitted article fulfil the above four criteria; when it doesn’t, peer reviewers can directly reject the article. F. Format must meet the template provided by the iCOMERA. Fulfilling the format requirement, intensive rounds of discussion and revision between editors and author were carried out. ● Conference submission management system: for submission and managing of articles, iCOMERA 2020 made use of the Brawijaya University’s Institutional Online Conference System (OCS), which made the process of articles submission easy to handle. ● Number of submissions received: 249 articles were submitted via OCS. ● Number of submissions sent for review: all of the 249 articles were sent to reviewers. ● Number of submissions accepted: 217 papers were accepted for publication in the IoP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering. ● Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100): 87.15 ● Average number of reviews per paper: 2 reviewers. ● Total number of reviewers involved: 12 reviewers. ● Any additional info on review process (ie plagiarism check system): we used the Turnitin software to check for plagiarism.
