Abstract

Second order statistical moments of the phase fluctuations of scattered ordinary EM wave caused by both electron density and external magnetic field fluctuations are considered in the collisional magnetized ionospheric plasma. The influence of collision frequency, anisotropy factor and angle of inclination of elongated irregularities of electron density fluctuations with respect to the geomagnetic field of lines on the broadening of the angular power spectrum is analyzed analytically and numerically. Phase portraits of the phase fluctuations caused by the geomagnetic field fluctuations are constructed at different spatial parameters characterizing magnetic field and electron density fluctuations. Numerical calculations are carried out for the ionospheric F-region using experimental data.
