PECULIARITIES OF INDIVIDUAL AND PROPHYLACTIC WORK WITH EMPLOYEES OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS STRUCTURES

Abstract

The article is devoted to an actual problem of individual-organization of preventive work with the employees of the internal affairs bodies. The main purpose of the article - is marking the main problems of individual and educational work in the bodies of internal affairs – education of a professionally trained, highly moral and psychologically stable employee. The priority work with the personnel at present is creation of an effective pedagogical system of law enforcement officers‟ education. The author points out that there is a need to establish an effective pedagogical staff of education system oriented on developing moral, professionally significant qualities, aimed at the exemplary performance of official tasks. It is noted that there is an urgent need to take into consideration social and psychological characteristics of police officers as well as such factors as the private life volatility (dynamism), the impact of the changes taking place in society in the process of young people formation during individual prophylactic work. The author points out that only an educated policeman with highly cultured qualities, with knowledge and skills in different areas can qualitatively do the tasks assigned by the state. It is concluded that formation of professional morality of a law enforcement officer – is not only the task of law enforcement heads, but it is also a necessary condition for the personnel to execute state operative and service tasks, to keep the law and discipline. Service responsibility and moral and aesthetic requirement to a police officer should be merged into a single unit.
