Abstract
Purpose/Objective: To compare the bladder and re the use of bladder rectum spacer balloon as compa gauze packing in HDR intracavitary brachytherapy trea cervix. Materials and Methods: This is a randomized study reduction in bladder and rectum doses with the use of spacer balloon as compared to standard gauze packin carcinoma cervix being treated with HDR intracavitary Forty patients with carcinoma cervix suitable for HD brachytherapy stage Ib -IIIB treated with radical rad included in this study.
