Abstract

(Abstracted from Biol Reprod 2020;103:599–607) The efficacy of in vitro fertilization (IVF) with embryo transfer and other assisted reproductive technologies has dramatically improved since their introduction, resulting in current multiple pregnancy rates lower than 10%. Despite advancements, an overall success rate of 30% could be improved by further exploration of why treatment response remains highly variable between patients.
