Abstract

This chapter focuses on the paths, Maya Diagrams, and representations of ŝ l (r, C). The paths can be introduced naturally in the study of solvable lattice models in statistical mechanics, notably the computation of the one point functions. A Maya diagram is a sequence consisting of white or black squares, labeled by integers, and arranged on a horizontal line, such that to the far left the squares are all black. A Maya diagram can also be visualized also by a Young diagram.
