Abstract

Number patterns in arrays of numbers can be a source of great interest to students. They can also provide highly motivated practice in fundamental operations. One of the most interesting arrays is known as Pascal's triangle. As the name suggests, this is a triangular array of numbers. Parts of Pascal's triangle are shown in figure 1 in three different forms.
