Abstract

1. The results of tests conducted over wide temperature and time-rupture (from 6 min to 2000 h) ranges on nickel-base alloys are best described by the Manson-Succop relationship. 2. On the example of EI607A alloy, it has been demonstrated that parametric curves cannot be employed for determining rupture life at temperatures leading to intense dissolution of a strengthening phase. 3. It has been established for the nickel-base alloys that there is no correlation between the type of parametric relationship and the position of breaks on the stress-rupture curves of these alloys.
