Abstract

Double anharmonicities g 1 r const 1 + δ 1 + g 2 r const 2 + δ 2 with pairs of arbitrary couplings g i small parameters δ i are considered. The feasibility of the double-series perturbation construction of energies is demonstrated in the first two orders. The single-series “delta expansion” of Bender et al. is reobtained in the single-anharmonicity special case with, say, g 2=0.
