Abstract
BACKGROUND CONTEXT: Since 1997 we have forcibly injected 4∼5ml of normal saline into the symptomatic disc. We believe this procedure could be done by the release of pressure within the disc, movement of herniated disc material, wash out chemical substances that caused irritation of nerve roots and acceleration of absorption of herniated mass.
