Abstract

Introduction: Local volume replacement may be used in some patients undergoing breast conservation surgery. Generally, these techniques rely on local perforator vessels and may lead to significant scarring of the chest wall. Here we present The Angel Flap, a novel winged thoracic advancement flap for volume replacement in lower and lateral breast defects.
