Abstract

In this paper, it was studied that blacken metal reduced the visibility of the metal pattern, to achieve an invisible to the naked eye, and improve the appearance quality in the metal forming process. After a large number of process verifications, the reflectivity of low reflective metal (RM), was in connection with light absorption coefficient (K) to used to change reflectivity on demand. It was found that a high‐refractive interference layer and a light absorbing layer can be added before the metal film layer according to the principle of thin film interference, and the metal such as Mo, AL, Cu used in the existing process can be blackened to reduce reflectivity. In the visible light band, the lower the reflectivity of metal (RM), the better the blackening effect.
