Abstract

1. From an investigation of the oxidative regeneration of zeolitic catalysts at temperatures from 620 to 700°C, it has been shown that the reaction of coke burning proceeds in the kinetic region at temperatures below 650°C and in the internal diffusion region at temperatures above 670°C. 2. At gas velocities from 0.7 to 1.4 m/sec. there is no external diffusion retardation in the supply of oxygen to the surface of the coked catalyst particles. 3. Use of the proposed kinetic equation in calculating oxidative regeneration has demonstrated the acceptability of this equation; the error in the determination amounts to ±5.1%.
