Abstract
The oxidation of magnetite in the roasting of iron-ore pellets is considered, with particular attention to the influence of various technological factors on the process. Laboratory data are used in optimizing the design and operational parameters of individual zones in conveyer roasting machines for the heat treatment of magnetite pellets.
