Abstract

The energy storage system is one of the important links in building a power system with new energy as the main body, which plays an irreplaceable role. The advanced energy storage technology has become the key core technology for peak shaving and frequency modulation, ensuring intermittent new energy access to the network and promoting new energy consumption. The diversification and complexity of the application scenarios of energy storage devices require energy storage devices with different operating characteristics to adapt to them, and then need diversified development. The mechanical elastic energy storage is a new physical energy storage technology, which has its own characteristics and advantages. This paper expounds the current situation and development space of mechanical elastic energy storage device from the aspects of operation principle, energy storage material selection, energy storage box structure optimization design, linkage energy storage box group assembly design, energy storage, power generation speed regulation and grid connection control technology, and analyzes and expounds the applicable scenarios of the mechanical elastic energy storage device.
