Abstract
Parlare dell'ospedale oggi in Italia non è facile. La sua collocazione nella legislazione sanitaria vigente potrebbe sembrare abbastanza lineare ma, di fatto, diverse proposte sono state avanzate da più parti per una revisione della sua collocazione nell'ambito del Sistema Sanitario Nazionale (SSN). Pertanto non si può generalizzare eccessivamente o banalizzare ciò che lo riguarda trattandosi di una struttura dinamica che si è modificata nel tempo e che continuamente si modifica, anche in termini di interpretazioni concettuali, nel SSN.
