Abstract
The objective of this study is to present, through the state of knowledge, the relationship between the comprehensive education of students in Vocational and Technological Education and the internship process in the granting companies. In some of the courses integrated with high school in Federal Institutes, the provision of these internships is a fundamental part of the completion of the educational path of students. When studying at IFs, these students often come across theoretical knowledge and more applied practice at the time of the internship. Therefore, it is necessary to seek to understand how internships occur in non-formal environments, since this articulation between theory and practice contributes significantly to the comprehensive education of these students. This study was carried out through a bibliographic review, and the CAPES, BDTD and PROFEPT Observatory platforms were used as a database. As a result of this investigation, it was noted that there are studies and scientific works that address supervised curricular internship and comprehensive training, but there is a lack regarding the aspects of internships and the relationship with supervisors and partner companies in a training context for everyone involved in this process.
