Abstract

This work treat the optimization of a three-phase high voltage power supply for microwaves generators with one magnetron by phase under MATLAB SIMULINK code. The design of this power supply is composed of three π quadruple models equivalents of three-phase high voltage transformer with magnetic shunt, each one powering o cell doublers composed of capacitor and a diode and one magnetron at the output of each cell. Each π equivalent model of the transformer is composed of three inductive elements; each element is characterized by a non linear relation between flux and current. This model was tested with the help of MATLAB SIMULINK code. Following that, we will apply an optimization strategy that aims to reduce the volume of the transformer while respecting the conditions recommended by the manufacturer of magnetron: Ipeak<1.2 A, Imean≈ 300 mA. This leads to reduce the transformer cost, and, therefore, that of all the installation and make it more economical.
