Abstract

The combined model of the relation between the technological, energy-force, and thermal parameters of a cold rolling reversing mill that was described earlier is used to develop a technique to optimize its technological and heat regimes. This technique results in a substantial decrease in the energy consumption at retained allowable roll temperature boundaries. In the case of manufacture of electric steels, the strip temperature range required for the formation of given magnetic properties is ensured.
