Abstract

We demonstrate an optimization process to obtain subtractive reflective color filters based on plasmonic metasurface arranged of silver cylindrical nanoantennas. In our study, colors are produced by absorbing light of specific wavelengths and reflecting the remaining spectrum. Accordingly, we can get different subtractive color filters from the reflected spectrum such as yellow, magenta, and cyan. Our results show that we obtain higher absorption resonance peaks (reflection dips) which give good performance for the proposed devices.
