Abstract

The decrease in the area occupied by the electromagnetic device for direct panel mounting or DIN-rail mounting, allows to increase the number of devices on a given surface. This is possible if the optimal design form the electromagnets as a criterion to assign a minimum of installation space. This is especially true for AC magnets. The paper presents the results of a study of dependencies and Assembly square from the main parameters of the electromagnet of the W-shaped type for data values of tractive effort, materials and other parameters. Obtained a minimum value of installation space depending on the magnetic induction in the unshielded part of the pole, the relationship of height of the winding to its thickness and the width of the pole to its thickness. When calculating the values of the footprint was determined weights of the electromagnet and the active power consumed in the steady state.
