Abstract

Liquid carbon dioxide fracturing technology, as a cutting-edge anhydrous fracturing technology, has made important progress in domestic field tests. Due to the particularity of physical and chemical properties of liquid carbon dioxide, compared with conventional hydraulic fracturing, liquid carbon dioxide fracturing puts forward higher requirements for the optimal design of fracturing operation string and downhole tools. Considering the influence of temperature reduction and rubber deformation of packer on the mechanical and sealing performance of the string and packer when liquid carbon dioxide is injected, combined with the analysis of temperature and pressure changes in the process of liquid carbon dioxide fracturing, the optimal design of the string for liquid carbon dioxide fracturing is carried out, which is verified by field test, and good results are obtained.KeywordsCarbon dioxideLiquid carbon dioxide fracturingWater-free fracturingOperation string
