Abstract

This study aims to see how the philanthropic organization Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) optimizes Zakat, Infaq, Alms and Waqf funds in alleviating various economic problems caused by the Covid-19 outbreak such as poverty, unemployment and lack of working capital. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the type of case study (case study). The results of the study found that there are several excellent programs initiated by the ACT Foundation in helping communities affected by the Covid-19 virus, including food security programs that not only help people get their food needs in the pandemic era but also create job opportunities for laid-off victims or laid-off employees. ACT also presents a business capital waqf program which is implemented in several actions, namely Sahabat Usaha Mikro Indonesia, Wakaf Modal Usaha Mikro and Wakaf Modal Produktif which aims to help small business actors to rise amidst the downturn due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
