Abstract

The principal polarized optical spectra of crystalline arsenic(III) sulfide in the range 0–40 eV were calculated from experimental electron energy loss spectra for the E || a, E || b, and E || c polarizations. The dielectric permittivity spectra were decomposed into longitudinal and transverse components, and their main parameters were determined.
