In this effort they have succeeded. Within its 659 pages,Ophthalmic Desk Referencecovers nearly every area of knowledge in clinical ophthalmology, delivering a large amount of information in a compact form. Clearly, the sheer quantity of important information within the field of ophthalmology limits the detail to which any given subject can be explored in a text of this size.
