Abstract

ABSTRACT The sustainable development of agriculture has increasingly become an international trend in recent decades. Although this major theme was originated from developed countries, it also has active responses in developing countries. This paper examines the evolution of the ecological agricultural practices in the People's Republic of China with a focus on the changing underlying eco-philosophy and the broader socio-cultural settings.
