Abstract

The article presents results of the experimental investigation of the flat-plate solar collector with polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam thermal insulation. The results of EN/ISO 9806:2017 thermal efficiency test, during which the solar collectors with rock wool and PIR foam were used, are presented. Additionally, the housing temperature distribution, at the same working conditions, were measured with infrared camera and compared for rock wood and PIR foam solar collectors.
