Abstract
Airport Mapping requires a high degree of accuracy and data integrity, both of which impose image- processing challenges. This paper outlines how we solved these challenges through the use of satellite imagery. It summarizes our rigorous geocorrection methodologies and presents a breakdown of how the accuracies are achieved. This is an excellent example of an operational project making use of commercial satellite imagery to solve a challenging problem.
