Abstract
ISSUE: Achievement and maintenance of hand hygiene (hh) compliance rates of 80-100% are a challenge when published studies show compliance rates of 30-50% without an active hh program. Clear and public administrative support with consequences for lack of adherence is essential. NYP expanded upon published strategies and developed Operation Come Clean (OCC) to achieve our goal.
