Abstract
A new type of axial flux stator coreless permanent magnet motor with permanent magnet structure is analyzed in this paper. A new permanent magnet structure is proposed, which combines the block permanent magnet structure, trapezoidal permanent magnet structure and Halbach permanent magnet array. This structure can optimize the air gap flux density performance of the motor. In order to verify this idea, the finite element method is used to study the influence of the existing permanent magnet structure and the proposed new structure on the amplitude, harmonic content and waveform distortion rate of the air gap flux density of the motor respectively to verify the advantages of the new structure. Finally, the experimental results are given.
