Abstract

We introduce a prescription using optical materials to perform a quantum sealed-bid auction using an n-partite cluster state, produced using an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) through the process of spontaneous parametric down-conversion (SPDC) and an array of Beam splitters whose properties define the amount of correlation in the corresponding state. We further establish the role of optical materials in performing quantum communication protocols and analyse the effect of noise on the state.
