Abstract
Starting fran a general set of equations for one-step paramreter estination methods, four recursive identification methods are derived. It is indicated how scme well-known recursive methods can be found to be a special member of this general class. A recursive tally principle method, which seems to be new in the literature, also appears as a special case. Comparisons with the other methods point to a powerful recursive parameter estimator.
