Abstract
This article focuses on safety criteria, which is one of the important components in the study of the humanization of urban spaces. The aim of the study is to identify the main prob-lems and study modern methods of humanizing public and residential spaces of the urban environ-ment. The aims of the study are to research modern methods of humanization of the urban environ-ment for use in practical studies of the spatial environment in cities of Kazakhstan.
