Abstract
Using the Kubo - Martin - Schwinger (KMS) condition and exchange algebras we discuss how to compute correlation functions for the conformal exchange field theories. In particular, we derive the Verlinde algebra from modular invariance of the conformal field theories. We also show how the Verlinde matrices can be related to the KMS matrices.
