Abstract

A complex experiment performed on [CH(ClO 4) y ] x ] has revealed a gapless CDW state at high doping levels. The corresponding range of concentration is much broader than that predicted theoretically in the case of a perfectly random impurity distribution. We suggest here that the theoretical and experimental estimates can be reconciled by assuming a partial ordering of dopant ions induced by the CDW.
