Abstract

In this paper, we pressent a global well-posedness of strong solutions and their emergent behaviors for the coupled kinetic-fluid system consisting of kinetic thermomechanical Cucker-Smale equation and compressible isentropic Navier-Stokes system. Particle and fluid systems are coupled via the drag force which is responsible for the asymptotic velocity alignment between kinetic equation and fluid system. For the well-posedness and velocity alignment, we employ an energy method and Lyapunov function method under suitable conditions on initial data and system parameters.
