Abstract
A chiral algebra extending the minimal topological algebra of Eguchi and Yang is given. This algebra is found to be present in the BRST structure of a wide variety of topological CFTs and string theories, including topological minimal models, topological gravity, and the usual bosonic and NSR strings.
