Abstract

China, as a country under transformation and development, faces a second profound institutional reform under the new types of international trade rules like TPP, TTIP and PSA. This paper, starting from the strategic background of establishing the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone and based on the ongoing institutional reform of the Pilot Free Trade Zone, analyzes the top-level institutional reform requested under the comprehensively open economy and tries to sketch the path of institutional transformation with Chinese characteristics.
